We match passengers who need reliable long-distance transport with professional, verified drivers who operate on defined routes — giving both sides full transparency over pricing, safety, and journey status before a single kilometre is driven.
South Africa's intercity road network is underserved by formal transport options. Millions of people travel between towns and cities every week, often relying on informal arrangements with little accountability or safety recourse. Fetchr Ride exists to change that — by bringing structure, technology, and community trust to intercity travel.
Passengers download the Fetchr Ride app, enter their pickup and drop-off locations, and instantly see available verified drivers nearby. Drivers set their own fares and routes; passengers compare offers and confirm the trip with a one-time PIN. During the journey, both sides can track location live and communicate via in-app chat. After arrival, mutual ratings keep the community accountable.
Drivers access the platform through a monthly subscription managed securely via Google Play Billing. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time through the Google Play app.

Safety is built into every step of the Fetchr Ride journey. Passengers confirm trips with a one-time OTP so only the intended driver can start the ride. Live GPS tracking is available throughout, and passengers can share their trip status with emergency contacts at any time. A 24/7 support channel is available for safety concerns.
