Terms and Conditions

To use Fetchr, you must:

• be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction;
• have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
• provide accurate, complete, and current registration information; and
• use the platform only for lawful purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out through your account.

You agree to keep your account information accurate and to notify Fetchr promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, misuse, or a security breach involving your account.

Fetchr may allow registration as:

• Client – a user who posts a job, task, or service request; or
• Runner – a user who submits offers and performs services.

Additional verification or approval may be required before certain features are made available.

Clients may post service requests for a target location, and runners may submit offers in response.

Users agree that all requests and offers must be truthful, lawful, clearly described, professional, and consistent with applicable law and platform rules.

Any agreement for services is made directly between the client and the runner. Fetchr is not the employer, agent, partner, or legal representative of runners unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Runners act independently and are solely responsible for how they perform their services, the promises they make, and their compliance with applicable laws.

Fetchr may apply verification, moderation, approval, or trust-related checks to improve platform safety and reliability.

However, verification does not guarantee a user’s identity, reliability, suitability, honesty, or service quality. Users remain responsible for exercising their own judgment before accepting work, selecting providers, sharing information, or making payments.

Fetchr may introduce service fees, platform fees, transaction charges, or payment facilitation features. Any applicable fee will be communicated through the platform.

Where third-party payment providers are used, Fetchr is not responsible for outages, delays, reversals, verification issues, or other failures caused by such providers.

Users must act fairly and in good faith when cancelling requests, withdrawing offers, or raising disputes.

Fetchr may provide dispute-handling tools or support, but is not required to resolve every dispute and does not guarantee any specific outcome.

You agree not to:

• use Fetchr for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes;
• misrepresent your identity, location, skills, or authority;
• post fake jobs, fake offers, or misleading information;
• harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against others;
• attempt unauthorized access to the platform or its data; or
• use Fetchr for activities that are unsafe, abusive, or prohibited by law.

You retain ownership of content you create and upload, including profile information, job details, messages, and other user-submitted material.

By posting content on Fetchr, you grant Fetchr a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, process, and use that content as necessary to operate, improve, moderate, and secure the platform.

Fetchr may allow users to submit ratings, reviews, and feedback. Such content must be honest, fair, and based on genuine interactions.

Fetchr may remove reviews or feedback that are abusive, false, manipulative, defamatory, retaliatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

Your use of Fetchr is also subject to the platform’s Privacy Policy. By using Fetchr, you agree that your personal information may be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with that policy and applicable law.

Users must exercise reasonable caution when interacting through the platform, including before sharing addresses, contact details, access instructions, or payment information.

Fetchr does not guarantee the conduct, competence, safety, or reliability of any user and is not responsible for acts or omissions by users.

Fetchr may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time. The platform is provided on an “as available” basis, and uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.

All intellectual property rights in the Fetchr platform, including its branding, design, interface, software, and related materials, belong to Fetchr or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.

Fetchr may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, provide false information, create platform risk, or where action is required by law or policy.

Fetchr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fetchr disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and non-infringement.

Fetchr does not guarantee that a job will receive offers, that a runner will be available in a particular location, or that services will be completed to any particular standard.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fetchr and its owners, employees, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, user interactions, service performance, payment failures, or technical issues.

You agree to indemnify and hold Fetchr harmless against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Fetchr will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of South Africa, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Fetchr may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms become effective when published in the app, website, or otherwise communicated to users.

Continued use of Fetchr after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.
